Choose a Voice Provider

Compare Telnyx browser calling with Zadarma PBX callback calling before connecting a provider to LeenOps.

Choose a provider from the call experience backward. Telnyx is the stronger fit when users should speak through LeenOps in the browser and you want in-app number management. Zadarma is the simpler fit when your team already uses a Virtual PBX and wants LeenOps to trigger a callback through it.

Choose Telnyx When

  • callers should work entirely from a supported browser;
  • each caller needs an assigned outbound business number;
  • your admin wants to synchronize or buy Telnyx numbers from Workspace;
  • transfer, recording, transcript events, or SMS are part of the rollout;
  • you can configure a Telnyx Credential Connection and signed version 2 webhook.

Read the Telnyx Voice and SMS setup guide.

Choose Zadarma When

  • the team already works through a Zadarma Virtual PBX;
  • users should answer a provider callback on an extension, SIP device, PBX scenario, or phone;
  • CRM click-to-call and signed call history are the main requirements;
  • browser audio, in-app number purchasing, transfer, recording, transcripts, and SMS are not required.

Default Provider Behavior

A workspace can store more than one provider connection, but CRM click-to-call uses the default live connection. On the provider card, select Set default only after that connection has passed its test and its carrier-side event URL is configured.

Changing the default affects new calls. Existing call records stay attached to the provider that handled them.

Other Provider Cards

The provider catalog may show additional options. A provider card can be marked live, external, planned, or unavailable depending on the adapter and your Workspace release. Saving credentials for a planned provider does not mean it can place calls.

Use the capability labels and connection status shown in your Workspace as the operational truth. Do not move production traffic to a provider until a test call and call-history update both succeed.

Decision Checklist

Before selecting a provider, confirm:

  1. the countries and number types you need are available;
  2. the carrier account can call the intended destinations;
  3. trial-account restrictions are acceptable for testing;
  4. your network and browser policy allow microphone access if using Telnyx;
  5. the PBX callback source is reachable if using Zadarma;
  6. recording and consent rules have been approved for every operating country;
  7. an administrator owns provider billing and incident response.
