Phone Numbers
Synchronize, buy, assign, and safely release Telnyx phone numbers in LeenOps Workspace.
The provider-neutral Phone Numbers area currently manages Telnyx inventory. Zadarma numbers, extensions, SIP users, and PBX scenarios remain managed in Zadarma.
Synchronize an Existing Telnyx Account
After connecting Telnyx:
- Open Settings > Telephony & Messaging > Phone Numbers.
- Select Sync account.
- Review numbers attached to the configured Telnyx Credential Connection.
- Assign an active number to each browser caller who needs one.
Synchronization reads the complete Telnyx inventory. Existing Workspace member assignments are preserved. If a locally known number is no longer returned by Telnyx, LeenOps marks it for attention instead of silently deleting the record.
Search Before Buying
- Choose the country and number type.
- Optionally enter a city or locality.
- Select Search.
- Review the recurring monthly price and one-time charge.
- Select Review purchase for the intended number.
A search result is a short-lived quote, not a reservation. Only Confirm purchase submits a billable order to the connected Telnyx account.
If a quote expires or the number becomes unavailable, search again. Do not rely on an earlier price or inventory result.
Confirm a Purchase
Before confirming:
- verify the full number and country;
- verify monthly and one-time charges;
- confirm the carrier account and cost center;
- choose Assign after activation only when the intended member is known;
- confirm any regulatory Requirement Group is ready.
Select Confirm purchase once. LeenOps records the local order and reconciles the provider result so a retry does not intentionally create a duplicate order. If the order is pending, use Refresh rather than starting a second purchase.
Regulatory Requirements
Some countries and number types require identity, business, address, emergency, or other documentation. LeenOps does not create those documents. Complete the requirements in Telnyx, then return to Workspace and refresh the order.
Provider availability, pricing, number portability, emergency calling, and regulatory requirements remain subject to Telnyx and local rules.
Assign a Number
- Find the active number under Owned Telnyx numbers.
- Open its member selector.
- Choose the Workspace member who should use it.
- Leave it Not assigned if it should stay in shared inventory.
The assigned number becomes that member's outbound Telnyx caller number. A member without an assigned active number cannot start a Telnyx browser call.
Use a Number for Telnyx SMS
The number must be synchronized and attached to the same Telnyx Messaging Profile ID entered in Workspace. If the profile is missing or different:
- assign the number to the correct Messaging Profile in Telnyx;
- select Sync account again;
- reconnect or retest Telnyx SMS.
See Telnyx Voice and SMS for the complete messaging setup and current channel limitations.
Release a Number
Releasing returns the number to Telnyx and may make it permanently unavailable.
- Confirm the number is not used for voice, SMS, a public listing, emergency routing, or another integration.
- Remove or update external references.
- Select the release action in Phone Numbers.
- Read the confirmation and select Release number only when approved.
The number is removed from member assignment and can no longer be used for new Workspace calls.
