Data & Privacy
Privacy requests, deletion safeguards, retention, and responsible data handling in Leenops.
Leenops provides privacy and security controls that help organizations manage personal data and respond to data-subject requests. The legal terms governing processing are available in the Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement.
Your organization remains responsible for deciding which laws apply to its workspace records and how a specific request should be handled.
Privacy requests
Depending on the request and applicable law, a person may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability.
If the request concerns records managed by your organization:
- Verify the identity of the requester.
- Confirm which person, account, and workspace the request concerns.
- Record any lawful retention requirement or legal hold.
- Contact Leenops support if product assistance is needed.
- Transfer the result only through an approved secure channel.
For Leenops account requests, contact privacy@leenops.com.
Account deletion
Leenops does not treat account deletion as simply disabling a login. The controlled workflow checks the target account and any ownership or legal blockers, stops access, disconnects linked services, removes or anonymizes covered personal data, handles user-owned files, removes the sign-in identity, and checks the result.
The requester receives lifecycle updates, while the support team can see whether each request completed or needs attention.
Read how account deletion works.
Workspace and record deletion
Different deletion actions have different scope:
| Action | What it affects |
|---|---|
| Account deletion | One person's Leenops account and covered personal data |
| Workspace deletion | Workspace data, subject to the stated recovery and retention rules |
| Record deletion | A selected business record within a module |
| Disconnect linked account | Stops Leenops access to that external account; it does not delete the external account |
Before deleting shared workspace data, confirm that the requester has authority and that your organization does not need to retain the information.
Retention and lawful exceptions
Some information may need to remain for legal obligations, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, disputes, or legal claims. Where possible, access is restricted and personal links are removed or information is anonymized.
Protected backup copies may remain for a limited period until they expire through the normal backup lifecycle. Backups are not used as active product data.
Your contractual and legal sources of truth are:
Safe handling
- Collect only the information your workflow needs.
- Limit access using workspace roles and permissions.
- Review access when people change roles or leave.
- Do not send privacy exports through ordinary unsecured channels.
- Never include passwords, one-time codes, or access tokens in a privacy request.
- Disconnect integrations that are no longer needed.
