Warehouses
Create Stock warehouses, review their locations, and use locations in transfers and balances.
Warehouses group the physical or logical locations where inventory is held. Current on-hand quantities are tracked at location level and can be rolled up by warehouse.
Create a warehouse
- Open Stock > Warehouses.
- Select New Warehouse.
- Enter the required code and name.
- Add the address if relevant.
- Select Default warehouse when this should be the normal operational warehouse.
- Select Create.

Warehouse detail
Select a warehouse to open its detail page. The page shows:
- Warehouse code and name
- Default/active state
- Address
- Existing locations and their type
- Warehouse-aware AI assistance
Location types supported by the data model include zone, aisle, rack, shelf, bin, transit, customer, vendor, and virtual.
The current warehouse detail page lists locations but does not yet provide a complete location-management workflow. Advanced bin hierarchy configuration may require an integration or administrative path.
Transfer stock
Open Stock > Transfers or /stock/transfers/new to record a transfer:
- Select the product.
- Select the source location.
- Select the destination location.
- Enter a positive quantity.
- Add an optional reason or reference.
- Select Record transfer.
The transfer is recorded as one immutable movement containing both source and destination locations. It immediately updates the maintained balance model and then returns you to Stock > Movements.
There is no separate draft/in-transit/received lifecycle in the current transfer UI.
Default warehouse guidance
- Use one default warehouse per workspace.
- Keep codes short and stable because they appear in operational references.
- Use separate locations inside a warehouse for bins or workflow states when those locations are available.
- Prefer a transfer over a manual quantity rewrite so the movement ledger remains auditable.
