Workspace Email Settings
Configure the verified sender used by workspace-authored email and Sequences.
Workspace Email controls the delivery identity for email authored by your workspace. It is separate from connected Gmail or Outlook accounts and from LeenOps account emails such as verification, password recovery, and invitations.
Open Email Settings
Go to Settings → Administration → Email. You must be a workspace Admin or Owner.
What you need
LeenOps uses Resend for workspace email delivery. Before activating a customer-authored Email Sequence, configure all of the following:
- A Resend API key with sending access.
- A From name, such as
Acme. - A From email, such as
hello@acme.com. - A verified Resend domain matching the From email.
- Enable outbound email turned on.
The API key and verified domain must belong to the same Resend account.
The shared LeenOps sender is reserved for platform-operated messages. A workspace-authored Sequence cannot be activated until the workspace has its own enabled, provider-verified sender.
Add or replace the API key
- In Resend, open API Keys and create a key with sending access.
- Paste the key into Resend API Key.
- Save the email settings.
Entering a new key replaces the stored key. Leaving the field blank keeps the existing key.
Set the sender identity
| Field | Purpose | Example |
|---|---|---|
| From name | Display name shown to recipients | Acme |
| From email | Verified sending address | hello@acme.com |
An email step can set a separate Reply-to email. That changes where replies arrive, not the verified From address.
Verify the domain
After saving, LeenOps checks the From domain against Resend:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Verified | The provider accepts the domain for sending. |
| Pending | DNS verification is not complete. |
| Not found | The domain is not registered in the saved Resend account. |
| Error | LeenOps could not confirm the provider state. Retry before activation. |
Use Resend's domain page to add the requested DNS records. Activation fails closed while the domain is unverified or the provider check is unavailable.
Send a test
- Save the API key and sender identity.
- Turn on Enable outbound email.
- Select Send test email.
- Confirm the message arrives with the expected From address.
For a Sequence, also use Send me a test in the email-step editor. Check the subject, body, Reply-To, links, and every language you plan to use.
Disable outbound email safely
Turning off workspace outbound email makes the custom workspace identity unavailable. It is not a global pause button for every platform or authentication message.
Deactivate active Sequences and any email-sending workflows before disabling or changing the sender. Required account, security, billing, and platform-operated lifecycle messages are managed separately.
Rate limits
LeenOps enforces workspace-level sending limits to protect sender reputation. The current defaults are 200 messages per hour and 2,000 per day. Provider limits also apply. When a limit is reached, sending is deferred or rejected until capacity becomes available.
