Assistants

Understand how assistants are organized and which capabilities can be configured in LeenOps Workflows.

Assistants are the people-like entry point for work performed through LeenOps Workflows. The Console provides one inventory for assistants; voice, phone, schedules and workflows are capabilities attached to an assistant rather than separate product types.

The assistant builder is currently marked beta in the Console. Existing assistants can expose some or all of these configuration areas, depending on their enabled capabilities and your role:

  • Behavior — instructions and flow configuration.
  • Knowledge — the curated material available to the assistant.
  • Model — the configured model/runtime choice.
  • Tools — approved actions the assistant can call.
  • Channels — enabled interaction channels.
  • Activity — recent work associated with the assistant.
  • Test — a controlled way to exercise the configured assistant.
  • Batch work — repeated work submitted as a batch when supported.

Assistants and agents

“Assistant” is the primary Console concept. “AI agent” remains a capability term and also appears in implementation identifiers such as agent_runs, agent_reports and products/agents/*. Do not rename those identifiers in API, database or runtime instructions unless their owning contract changes.

Access and availability

Visible areas depend on the user’s role, enabled product capabilities and release state. A route marked beta or setup-required in the Console should not be treated as generally available without its required configuration.
