External resources

Use Resources to add:

• Google Drive
• OneDrive
• SharePoint
• Dropbox
• Figma
• Another HTTPS web link
• An HTTPS embed target

External resources let portal owners give stakeholders one place to find files, designs, shared folders, and other workspaces without importing those assets into LeenOps. Open the portal, select the Resources tab, and use Link an external workspace to add a pointer.

Add a resource

1. Open Portals and select the portal.
2. Select the Resources tab.
3. Choose the provider: Google Drive, OneDrive, SharePoint, Dropbox, Figma, Web link, or Embed.
4. Enter a clear label that tells portal members what they will open.
5. Paste the secure https:// destination.
6. Optionally add instructions or context in the description field.
7. Click Add link.

The saved card shows the label, provider, and optional description. Selecting the card or its external-link button opens the provider in a new browser tab.

For each resource, LeenOps stores the provider, label, HTTPS URL, optional instructions, display order, and visibility. It does not download, proxy, index, cache, or copy the linked file.

The original provider remains responsible for authentication and permissions. A portal member who cannot access a Drive or SharePoint link must be granted access in that provider.

Remove a resource

Open the portal's Resources tab and use the remove button on the resource card. This deletes only the LeenOps pointer. It does not delete or change the file, folder, design, or workspace in the original provider.

Permission checklist

Before sharing the portal, verify that:

• The URL uses HTTPS and opens the intended destination.
• Every intended portal member has access in the source provider.
• The label and description explain what the resource contains.
• The provider's sharing policy does not expose the resource more broadly than intended.
